San Lorenzo Ruiz and Companion Martyrs Parish is a parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kalookan, serving the coastal barangays of Navotas City under the patronage of the first Filipino saint.

Our story
From Binondo to Nagasaki to Navotas
The road that leads to our parish church runs through four centuries of Filipino faith.
- 1600s
A saint is formed
Lorenzo Ruiz serves as an altar boy and calligrapher in Binondo, a member of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary under the Dominican fathers.
- 1637
Martyrdom in Nagasaki
Refusing to renounce the faith, Lorenzo and his companions are martyred at Nishizaka Hill. His last words become our parish motto.
- 1987
The first Filipino saint
Pope John Paul II canonizes San Lorenzo Ruiz and his fifteen companions in Rome — the first Filipino raised to the altars.
- 1990s
A parish by the sea
Our parish community is established in the coastal barangays of Navotas, entrusted to the patronage of the martyr from a family of humble means, like our own fisherfolk.

With four pillars of ministries — councils, liturgy, outreach, and formation — the parish serves thousands of families across its barangays.

Rev. Fr. Miguel A. Santos
Parish Priest
Fr. Miguel has shepherded the parish since 2022. A son of a fisherman from the coastal barangays, he has made the Ministry for the Urban Poor and the parish's social action programs the heart of his pastoral plan.

Parochial Vicar
A Dominican friar continuing the Order's centuries-old bond with San Lorenzo Ruiz, Fr. George assists in the liturgy and leads the formation of altar servers and catechists.
Deacon Rafael T. Cruz

Deacon Rafael coordinates the Barangay Apostolic Councils and accompanies families preparing for baptism and marriage.
