Ministry of Altar Servers
Serving at the altar, in the footsteps of our patron.
The Ministry of Altar Servers forms young boys and men who assist the priest during the Holy Mass and other liturgical celebrations. It is a ministry especially dear to this parish: San Lorenzo Ruiz himself served at the altar as a boy in Binondo before God led him to martyrdom.
Beyond the sanctuary, the ministry is a school of discipline, prayer, and vocation — many of its alumni have entered the seminary or gone on to lead other parish ministries.
What we do
- Serving at daily and Sunday Masses, weddings, and funerals
- Monthly formation sessions and liturgy workshops
- Annual recollection and sportsfest
- Vocation camps with the Diocese of Kalookan
