Ministry for the Urban Poor

The Ministry for the Urban Poor is one of the most active ministries of this Navotas parish. It collaborates with educational and civic partners to bring livelihood programs, youth art programs, and welfare aid to families in the parish's poorest communities.

Its flagship program is the local gourmet tinapa-making livelihood project, which trains parishioners to turn Navotas' famous smoked fish into a source of stable family income — alongside scholarship assistance and art workshops for the youth.
